I am honored to welcome you to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Islamic Learning at the Adam Institute of Social and Management Sciences (AISMS).
Our faculty represents the core mission of AISMS, which is to integrate insights from Islamic studies into the social sciences through contemporary teaching methods. Our Department of Islamic Studies and programs, including the Bachelor of Science in Islamic Studies, aim to equip students with academic knowledge, moral clarity, and social awareness.
We believe that understanding society is intrinsically linked to understanding faith, as both perspectives enrich and build upon one another. Our students are encouraged to think critically about classical and modern knowledge and to apply their analytical skills to address real social issues, guided by ethical and religious values.
We are committed to fostering an environment of academic inquiry, tolerance of differing opinions, and genuine scholarship. We take seriously our responsibility to educate students who will become educators, researchers, community leaders, and thoughtful professionals.
I invite all students who seek a learning experience that nurtures both the mind and character—students who view education as a lifelong journey filled with purpose—to join our faculty.
Prof. Dr. Hisamuddin
Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Islamic Learning
